ClearSpan Fabric Structures “How It’s Made”

On May 28th at 9:00pm EST, the company will be featured on an episode of “How It’s Made” airing on the Science Channel. ClearSpan’s segment will highlight what it takes to manufacture the company’s line of Hercules Truss Arch Buildings, also known as “Buildings of 1,000 Uses.”

The production crew for “How It’s Made “spent 10 hours filming last May at the company’s Dyersville, Iowa distribution center. With the episode airing almost a year later employees are excited. “It’s a proud moment when the product of your hard work is put on a pedestal for all to see,” exclaimed Kevin Koch, design and engineer manager.

  • Many employees were even fans of the show before they filmed at ClearSpan. “It’s a show I’ve always watched, and my kids love watching it with me,” expressed Rob Blush, construction project manager at ClearSpan.
